Kempsey Rangers was formed at the end of the 1978 season by combining the two Kempsey based sides at the time - Kempsey United and Kempsey Athletic.

Several years later the name was changed to Macleay Valley Rangers to more accurately reflect the make up of the club

The Kempsey Hornets Football Club was established in 1970 as the first soccer club on the Macleay. We initially catered to students of West Kempsey Primary School and were known as The West Kempsey Soccer Club. Our club soon grew in size and began catering for male and female players from all over the Macleay Valley leading to a name change in 1990 to “The Hornets”.

The League around Manning District

Football Mid North Coast is the association that has basically resulted from the amalgamation of the previous Oxley Soccer Association and Manning District Soccer Association.

Football Mid North Coast administers soccer or football on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales (NSW) Australia for the community. It’s headquarters are located near Port Macquarie at Telegraph Point.

The operations etc of Football Mid North Coast are managed by a Board, currently comprising nine members.

Football Mid North Coast is registered as an Association with the Office of Fair Trading (NSW) and has the registration number INC9165602.
