Trust a star of the football world like Landon Donovan to tweet and bolster the spirits of the upcoming footballers.

US Soccer had a big story last weekend when Christian Pulisic, a seventeen year old wonders player scored a goal in the Bundesliga on Sunday. He helped his club Borussia Dortmund gain victory over opposing team Hamburger SV. The 3-0 victory that was attained went wild over social media networks. The goal also inspired Landon to make a quote. He tweeted that Pulisic had attained at seventeen what he and Taylor Twellman had not been able to achieve at that age. Donovan had played with Bayer Leverkusen, a German club, in the beginning part of his career while Twellman had played for TSV 1860 Munchen II.

Landon Donovan is definitely trying out different roles in the world of football even after retiring from being active on the field. He is currently being considered as studio analyst for Time Warner Cable SportsNet. Being considered a legend from LA Galaxy, he is soon to be associated with the premier sports channel of Time Warner Cable. The role is perfectly suited for the goal scorer who was a leader in this role when we played.
